Hallelujah House
A long communal table set for forty by candlelight in a timber hall

Fridays, 6:30pm

Forty seats. One table.

You do not get to pick who you sit next to. That is the whole design. Fixed price, one menu, no substitutions except for allergies, and it goes until it goes.

$65 per seat, everything included

How it runs

Four courses and a room full of people you have not met.

  1. First

Whatever the valley is giving up that week. In June it is asparagus and trout, in October it is squash and elk.

  2. Second

One big thing in the middle of the table that somebody has to carve. That is deliberate.

  3. Sweet

Huckleberry, nine months of the year, in some form we argued about on Wednesday.

  4. After

Somebody plays. Sometimes it is good. Nobody has ever left early.

Seats go on the list first

We release the next four Fridays every Sunday night, to the email list, before anybody else.

It is not a marketing tactic, it is just that forty seats disappear in about an hour and this is the fairest way we have found to hand them out.

One email on Sunday night. The week’s hours, what is on the menu, and who needs prayer. Nothing else.

Want the whole thing to yourself?

Book the room privately and we will cook the same way for your forty people instead of ours.
